The starting point

Shared homes need more than another spreadsheet.

Cofori began with a real household problem: bills were split between housemates, payments moved through one person’s account, due dates needed remembering and the status of every share had to remain obvious.

I turned that need into a complete product direction—combining household finance, planning and conversation in a system designed to feel human rather than administrative.

The system

Four connected parts. One household view.

01

Shared bills

A clear monthly view of totals, individual splits, payment progress and overdue items.

02

Plans together

Household events, responses and shared costs connected in one simple flow.

03

House chat

Messaging, photo sharing, bill requests, reactions and household activity in context.

04

Friendly guidance

Pockets turns reminders and financial states into clear, approachable prompts.

Character-led experience

Meet Pockets—the personality inside the product.

Pockets is not decoration. The mascot helps translate bill states, reminders and household progress into messages people can understand at a glance. Distinct poses and expressions give overdue, pending and completed moments their own emotional tone, while seasonal styling keeps the product lively without changing what the information means.

My contribution

From a household need to a live product.

  1. Defined the productMapped the real payment, reminder and housemate workflows.
  2. Built the identityCreated the Cofori direction, visual language and Pockets experience.
  3. Designed responsivelyDeveloped distinct mobile and desktop layouts around the same system.
  4. Tested in contextIterated through real household use, usability feedback and edge cases.

The outcome

A functioning household product—not just a UI concept.

Cofori demonstrates my ability to connect product thinking, interface design, brand storytelling, character direction and technical execution in one coherent experience.
