Process
The focus was not simply to move the character, but to make Bob feel clear, warm and memorable while remaining consistent with HiBob's identity.
Converted the supplied HiBob visual language into a friendly, dimensional character built to remain readable in motion.
Developed neutral, open, wink and surprise expressions for the visor, giving Bob personality without overcomplicating the face.
Used squash, stretch, antenna follow-through and controlled body movement to make the performance playful and approachable.
Built a polished studio presentation in Cinema 4D and Corona, balancing soft product lighting with HiBob's bright brand palette.
Finished the piece with timing, logo animation, typing beats, sound design and final post-production.

Character language
The visor became Bob's main emotional surface. A compact library of readable expressions made the character feel responsive while keeping the design simple and recognisable.
